S Club 7, the British pop group who dominated the pop charts from 1999 to 2003, is set to announce a huge reunion!
After a decade after splitting, the “Don’t Stop Moving” teen sensations of the 90’s and 00’s are reuniting all together under the watchful eye of Simon Fuller, their creator and former manager of spice girls.
Three of the members, Jo O’Meara, Paul Cattermole and Bradley McIntosh, began touring small venues in the UK under the name S Club 3 in 2008 and were joined by Tina Barrett earlier this year.
Now, the remaining three members – Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt and Jon Lee – have agreed to link up for a full band reunion.
Rumors that a big announcement is due to be made comes just weeks after the group dropped hints on social media.
Former member Hannah Spearritt sent the rumor mill into overdrive when she indicated on Twitter that she was meeting up with all six of her ex-bandmates.
She posted an old picture of the band and tweeted: “See y’all tomorrow S’s!” before tagging each of her friends.
Last month, Rachel Stevens said that the band had not reunited because it was so difficult to get them all in the same room – but it appears that the seven-member group became one again.
Hannah posted a picture of herself posing with Tina Barrett and ex-boyfriend (and first to leave the group) Paul Cattermole, saying they were the “last 3 standing”.
Other members of the band have made their nostalgia clear by repeatedly posting pictures of the stars from old photo shoots for months.
S Club 7 fans had a mini meltdown online, with one excited S Clubber writing: “If the S Club 7 reunion rumors are true I will cry tears of happiness!” and another tweeting: “My childhood is happening again!!!!”
